I have made a uppercase S printable template PDF for you to use in this easy striped snake craft. You could use the template to decorate with stickers or stars for a letter craft too.
The preschool room I worked in did 2 craft activities a day and one recipe a week. The kids loved to cook and eat what they made. There were always lots of books different books for each week’s theme.
We played games and did physical activities around the letters too. ABCs Yoga for Kids was always a favorite.

Make a Letter S Snake Craft for Preschoolers
Supplies
- white cardstock
- construction paper
- scissors
- glue
- crayons
How to Make a Letter S Striped Snake Craft for Kids
Step 1.
Print out the letter S PDF and cut it out.
Step 2.
Next, cut one inch strips of the colors for your snake. I used red, black, and orange. Cut the 1 inch strip into stripes. I made the some of the black stripes thicker.
Step 3.
Then, glue the stripes onto the letter S.
Step 4.
Finally, cut a red rectangle out for the tongue. Glue the tongue and the eye onto the snake. Let dry.
