For this easy craft you just need the printable, paper, scissors, glue and crayons supplies you likely have. Color the xylophone parts and add them to the uppercase X for this easy and quick craft.
The preschool room I worked in did 2 craft activities a day and one recipe a week. The kids loved to cook and eat what they made. There were always lots of books different books for each week’s theme.
We played games and did physical activities around the letters too. ABCs Yoga for Kids was always a favorite.

- white cardstock
- markers, crayon, colored pencils, watercolors, or kids paint
- scissors
- glue

Xylophone Template Preschool Craft
Click on the title or photo to print out the xylophone parts template.
Step 1. Print
Print out the letter X and the xylophone PDF on white cardstock. Let dry for a few minutes.
Step 2. Color
Color with your favorite media, the letter X and xylophone parts.
Step 3. Cut & Glue
Cut the xylophone parts, and letter X out. Then glue the xylophone parts on the letter X. Let dry.
If you don’t want to print out the xylophone parts you could easily use colored construction paper or have them draw the parts using rectangles.
