Mother’s Day is in another 2 weeks. I am thinking about gifts for my mom and mother in law from my little girl. I always liked the song You Are My Sunshine, so this easy Mother’s Day craft will be perfect.
My moms will love anything they get from Ella. I am going to make them some key chain with a picture of Ella for both sets of grandparents too. Look for the tutorial soon.

How to Make Easy Mother’s Day Craft
Supplies
- Construction paper – blue
- pencil
- Scissors
- Acrylic paint – orange, yellow
- Fork
- Plastic plate to put paint on
Step 1. Easy Mother’s Day Craft
Pour some yellow paint on the plate. Dip the tong of the fork in the yellow paint and press on the paper towards the top middle of the blue paper. Go around in a circle.
Use the bottom of the fork to make a circle in the center of the sun. Let Dry.
Step 2.
Write You Are My Sunshine lightly in pencil. Pour a small pool of equal parts yellow and orange. Mix yellow and orange paint.
Use your finger to paint the letters, either with dots or dragging you finger. Let dry. Enjoy.
Paint on a canvas or turn into a colorful card for mom or grandma.
