How to Make an Easy Best Dad Father’s Day Painting
Supplies
- scissors
- washable paint
- white canvas 11 in x 14 in
- brush
- small plate or palette
- glue
- star printable
- card stock white or colored
Step 1. Paint Background
Paint the background all dark blue for the night sky. Let dry.
Step 2. Paint
Paint with white swirling light similar to The Starry Night by Vincent Van Gogh.
Step 3. Star
Cut out star and glue to the canvas. You can place the star in the center or wherever you want. Let dry.
Step 4. Handprints
Paint the palm of a hand with yellow paint and carefully stamp the handprint where you want the stars to be. Then repeat for more stars around the canvas. Let dry.
You can also add more small stars to the painting or any details you would like.
