This easy craft can be made in no time with just a few supplies. You need paper, hole punch, scissors, and a printer.

How to Make: Free Printable Heart Garland
Supplies
- scissors
- yarn, string or ribbon
- hole punch
- printer
- white cardstock
- crayons, markers, colored pencils or paint (if you are decorating your own)
- heart garland printable colored (other versions below)
Step 1. Print Out Heart Template
Print out either the hearts with sayings on them or the blank template on white card stock. Let dry for a few minutes before the next step.
There is also version with just the words that you would print on colored cardstock to make your heart garland.
You will want to print several copies of the heart template to make the size of garland you want.
No printer available, draw and cut out your own heart either out of white paper or colored.
Step 2. Cut Out Hearts
Next, using the scissors cut out your hearts carefully on the lines.
If you are decorating your own hearts, do that now and let them dry before the next step.
Step 3. Punch Holes
Then, carefully punch holes using the hole punch on either side of the heart. Make sure you punch the hole far enough away from the edge so it won’t tear easily.
Step 4. String the Hearts
Finally, using string, ribbon, or yarn, string the hearts on a long piece of yarn. Before you cut your yarn, lay out your hearts to estimate how much yarn you will need.
Leave enough yarn so you can hang up the heart garland.
