I have made a uppercase O printable template PDF for you to use in this easy octopus craft. You could use the template to decorate as an owl or oranges for a letter craft too.

The preschool room I worked in did 2 craft activities a day and one recipe a week. The kids loved to cook and eat what they made. There were always lots of books different books for each week’s theme.

Make a Letter O Octopus Craft for Preschool

Supplies

white cardstock
construction paper
scissors
glue
crayons

How to Make a Letter O Octopus Craft for Preschoolers

Step 1.

Print out the letter O PDF and cut it out.

Step 2.

Next, using a black crayon make the eyes on either side of the O.

Step 3.

Then, using a red crayon, color the rest of the O leaving the center of the eyes white.

Step 4.

Then, cut 8 red strips of construction paper into 1 inch wide pieces. Roll the strips of red paper up.

Step 5.

Finally, glue the red strips on the bottom of the letter O spreading them out to have 4 on each side. Glue them to the back of the O and let dry.
