Supplies
- printable winter tree craft template PDF
- glue
- crayons
- white tissue paper, facial tissue, construction pattern, or coffee filter
- white printer paper or card stock
- optional- tempera paints and paint brushes
Step 1. Print Winter Tree Template
Print out free winter tree printable template outline PDF. Let dry for a few minutes.
If you are going to paint, make sure you use card stock paper.
If you are making your own tree, skip to step 2.

Click on the title or photo to print out the free winter tree printable template PDF. You can use this as a cut out template using colored paper or any other crafting ideas you have.

Step 2. Color Sky
Next, using a crayon, color the sky blue or you can use the color printable of the winter tree.
If you are making your own tree, paint or color the sky now. Then, show examples of winter trees or have them look outside and paint or draw a winter tree.
If you painted your tree and sky, let dry before moving on to the next step.
Step 3. Make Snow
Tear your paper or whatever material you choose to make your snow into little pieces.
If you are painting, you can add your snow by making dots or painting parts of the tree limbs. Let dry.
Step 4. Glue
Finally, take the pieces of paper you tore and glue to the sky and the tree for snow. Let dry.
