Make your own easy preschool Easter Egg craft. This craft has a free printable egg in several different sizes.
You can decorate the egg with your favorite media: paint, crayons, markers, or colored pencils. I choose washable tempura paints and a cotton swab for a fun painting experience.
This is a great Easter arts and crafts project to talk about patterns and different lines. Show your kids different patterns the could make like alternating colored dots or stripes.
You can draw and describe different types of lines they could make using the dots from the cotton swab. They could make straight lines, wavey lines, zag zag lines, or diagonal lines. They can make thick or thin lines.
You can let them lightly draw their lines and patterns using a pencil first if it is easier.

Easy Preschool Easter Egg Craft to Make: Dot Painting
Supplies
- white cardstock
- printable egg template
- washable paint
- cotton swabs
- small plate
- scissors
- pencil
Step 1. Print
Print out the free egg printable PDF on white cardstock or white printer paper. Cardstock will dry flat than the white thinner paper.
Let the outline dry for several minutes before using.

Step 2. Painted Easter Egg

Finally, cut out the egg.
